Do-Not-Call Policy
This is the written do-not-call policy of Deepdive AI Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as Tuvoz AI (“Tuvoz”). It applies to every call placed through the hosted Tuvoz service, whoever asked for the call. A copy is available to anyone on request at legal@tuvoz.io.
1. Tuvoz doesn’t make telephone solicitations
Tuvoz places calls for individuals’ own errands: booking, checking, changing, canceling, asking. Our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits telemarketing, sales and solicitation calls, political and fundraising calls, debt collection and surveys, and we block briefs that look like them. We still keep and honor a do-not-call list for every call, because nobody should get calls they asked to stop.
2. How to stop calls
Any of these adds the number to our do-not-call list:
- During a call: say “don’t call again”, “stop calling”, “take me off your list” or anything similar, or press 9. The voice agent confirms (“Got it, we won’t call this number again.”), gives Tuvoz’s callback number, and hangs up.
- After a call: call Tuvoz’s callback number, (628) 386-4393, or the number the call came from, and press 9. Both play: “This number is used by Tuvoz AI assistants and can’t take calls. To stop AI calls from Tuvoz, press 9.” When the request is saved, it says “Done. You won’t get AI calls from Tuvoz at this number.” If it can’t be saved right then, it says so, and you can try again.
- By text: text STOP to the callback number or to the number the call came from. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, OPTOUT and REVOKE work too, sent on their own. We never store the text.
- On our website: use “Stop AI calls from Tuvoz to my number” at tuvoz.io/calls. It doesn’t tell anyone whether Tuvoz has called the number.
- By email: email privacy@tuvoz.io with the number.
3. How requests are honored
- Right away, except email. Requests made on a call, by pressing 9 when you call back, by text or on our website are added to the list as soon as they reach us. If our database is briefly unavailable, a call still ends as asked, and requests made on a call or by text are saved as soon as it’s back. Requests by email are handled by a person and added within 10 business days.
- Whoever made the request. Caller ID can be faked, and anyone can type a number into the website form, so we add those numbers right away anyway and our staff review them afterwards. Staff can remove a number from the list only by recording a reason, for example when a request turns out to have been made to block calls to someone else’s number.
- For everyone. The request applies to all Tuvoz users, not only the person whose call you received. No user or setting can override it. (When a user stops AI calls to their own phone, that applies to their own account, and they can turn calls back on in Settings.)
- Permanently. We keep do-not-call requests indefinitely. We store a one-way fingerprint of the number, not the number itself.
- Checked before every call. Every call is checked against the list before it’s placed. Calls to listed numbers are refused, and the user is told the number can’t be called.
4. Identification on every call
Every call opens by saying it’s an AI assistant, the full name of the person it’s calling for, that it’s calling through Tuvoz, and the purpose of the call.
Every call also gives Tuvoz’s callback number, (628) 386-4393, which is a different number from the one the call comes from. The voice agent says it when it ends the call, including when the person declines recording or asks not to be called again, and in any voicemail it leaves. Calling it plays the same message and press-9 opt-out as the number the call came from. If the person hangs up first, the call just ends.
Tuvoz doesn’t call unlisted landlines, such as home phones that aren’t listed as a business.
5. Calling hours and limits
Calls to businesses and other people are placed only between 9 AM and 8 PM in the called party’s local time, and, where calls to Texas are allowed, not before noon on Sundays there. Calls to an account holder’s own verified phone, such as a question about a call in progress, are not limited to those hours. We limit how often any number can be called, and how many new numbers each account can call per day.
6. Training and records
Our do-not-call checks are automated and tested in our software: no user or setting can skip them, and every call is checked against the list. Requests that reach us by email are handled by a person, within 10 business days. People who work on Tuvoz are trained on this policy. Opt-outs are logged with the time and the way they were made, but not with the words said.
7. Accounts that draw opt-outs
Accounts whose calls draw repeated opt-outs are paused automatically and reviewed, as described in the Acceptable Use Policy.
