Terms of Service

Version tos-2026-10-17 · Effective Oct 17, 2026 · Last updated Oct 9, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Deepdive AI Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as Tuvoz AI (“Tuvoz”, “we”, “us”). They cover tuvoz.io, app.tuvoz.io, the Tuvoz API, the Tuvoz skill and command-line tool, and the calls Tuvoz places for you (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, connecting an agent, or placing a call, you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy, the Refund Policy and the training disclosure in How we use call data. We record which version you accepted and when.

1. Who can use Tuvoz

  • You must be 18 or older and a resident of the United States, and you must use the Service from the United States. You confirm your age and residence at sign-up. We check that you’re in the United States at sign-up, when you connect an agent and at checkout, and we may close accounts that don’t meet these requirements.
  • You sign in with a Google account and verify a US mobile number that you own and use. One account per person and per phone number.
  • The legal name you give us is the name the voice agent says on calls. It must be your real, full legal name. It is locked after sign-up; contact support to change it.
  • The Service is for individuals acting for themselves. If you use it for your work, you confirm you’re allowed to, and these Terms still bind you personally.

2. What Tuvoz does

Tuvoz lets an AI agent you use (such as Claude Code, Codex, claude.ai or Meta Muse) ask Tuvoz to place a phone call. Tuvoz’s AI voice agent talks on the call, works toward the goal in the brief your agent sends, asks your agent questions mid-call through the API, and may call your verified phone when your agent can’t answer. Tuvoz then returns the outcome, notes and, if your agent asks, the transcript.

Tuvoz is not an emergency service. It never calls 911, 988 or other N11, emergency or crisis numbers. In an emergency, call 911 yourself.

Tuvoz calls US numbers only, and only the kinds of numbers described in the Acceptable Use Policy. Calls to anyone other than you are placed between 9 AM and 8 PM in the called party’s local time (other limits apply in some states). Calls to your own verified phone, including calls that ask you a question about one of your calls, are not limited to those hours.

3. You are the caller

  • You decide and request each call. Every call starts from your request, made directly or through your agent, and you are responsible for it. Tuvoz provides the service that places it and enforces the rules in these Terms.
  • You are responsible for using the Service lawfully, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the FCC’s rules, state telemarketing, recording and calling laws, and the rules of any business you call.
  • When you add a personal or mobile number under “People who agreed to AI calls”, you confirm that the person is an adult, agreed to receive AI calls from you through Tuvoz, and that what you tell us about how and when they agreed is true.
  • Your instructions must be your own. The brief records your request in your own words. If your agent chose the recipient, or runs unattended, the call waits for your approval in the dashboard.
  • Calls in your name must be about your own affairs. The voice agent acts only for you, the verified account holder.

4. Honest AI, every call

Every call opens with a scripted disclosure, said by the voice agent: that it is an AI assistant, the name of the person it calls for, that it is calling through Tuvoz, and the purpose you approved. It then asks the other person whether recording is okay. If they say no, the call ends.

When the voice agent ends a call, including when the other person declines recording or asks not to be called again, and in any voicemail it leaves, it gives Tuvoz’s callback number, (628) 386-4393. That is a different number from the one the call comes from. Calling it plays a short message that lets the caller press 9 to stop AI calls from Tuvoz. If the other person hangs up first, the call simply ends.

The voice agent will not claim to be a human, to be you, or to act for anyone other than you. There is no setting that changes this, and you agree not to try to make it do otherwise. Tuvoz monitors calls for these rules and ends calls that break them.

5. Your agent, sign-in and API keys

  • You connect an agent through a device sign-in: your agent shows a link and a number, and you approve it in your account. This creates an API key for that agent. Keep keys private; you are responsible for activity under your keys.
  • Keys created for claude.ai are replaced each time you sign in from a new chat, and older ones are revoked after 24 hours.
  • Your agent is a third-party product (for example from Anthropic, OpenAI or Meta). Its provider’s terms govern it, including what happens to call information your agent reads.
  • You can revoke any key in your account at any time.

6. Limits, approvals and our right to refuse or end calls

We set limits on call length, calls per day, calls at the same time, new numbers per day and other factors, which differ between the free and paid plans and are shown in your account. Some calls need your approval in the dashboard first: calls your agent chose on its own, unattended calls, the first call to a personal number you added, and calls to hospitals and schools.

We may refuse, delay, end or block any call, pause your account, or turn off features at any time to protect the people we call, comply with law or carrier requirements, or stop abuse. We may end a call if the voice agent breaks the honesty rules, if the person asks not to be called, or if a limit or your balance runs out.

7. Recording, transcription and AI training

Calls are recorded as written transcripts. What the voice agent says is kept from the start of the call; what the other person says is kept only from the moment they agree to recording. Tuvoz doesn’t keep anything they said before that, except a short excerpt of their “yes” kept as proof of consent. Our phone and voice providers process call audio in real time to run the call, and our AI voice provider may keep it for a limited time for abuse monitoring, as the Privacy Policy explains.

Calls are used to train AI, including by other AI companies, which only ever get de-identified records. A call can become a training record when the person on the call agreed to recording. A training record contains the brief your agent sent, the transcript from the moment of consent (only for the people who agreed), the outcome and basic call details. We use training records to train and improve AI, including Tuvoz’s own systems. We may also license training records to other AI companies to train and evaluate their models, but only after we remove names, phone numbers, account and confirmation numbers and other details that identify people, so the records can’t reasonably be linked to you or anyone on the call. Those companies must agree not to re-identify anyone, not to pass the records on, and to use them only to train and evaluate AI. We never license identifiable personal information, call audio or voice recordings, biometric data, health or financial information, records from Sensitive calls, records from calls with a child, or records to companies controlled by a country the US government treats as a foreign adversary. Tuvoz does not sell personal information. Before we license records for the first time, we’ll update this section and tell you in the app. So models other than ours may improve from your calls.

  • Free plan: training on your calls is always on. You can’t turn it off on the free plan. To turn it off, make a top-up of any amount and switch it off in Settings, or delete your account.
  • Paid plan: training is on by default and you can turn it off in Settings. The change applies to calls placed from the moment you make it. Calls placed before keep the setting they were placed with.
  • Sensitive calls: calls to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, banks, insurers and schools, and calls whose content involves health, financial accounts, children, precise location or biometrics, are excluded from training unless you turn on the separate Sensitive calls setting (any plan, off by default, new calls only).
  • Never used: calls where we detect a child, calls to your own phone (test calls and the calls Tuvoz makes to ask you a question mid-call), calls where nobody agreed to recording, and calls that ended for breaking our rules or because of a failure on our side.
  • Deletion: deleting your account deletes your training records, and they are excluded from training runs that start afterwards. Models trained before the deletion are not retrained.
  • We will not widen what we train on, or who may use it, without asking for your consent again.
  • Tuvoz does not build voiceprints of anyone, and doesn’t use call audio to copy anyone’s voice.

How we use call data explains all of this in more detail and is part of these Terms.

8. Calls to your own phone

When you verify your phone, you agree to this statement: “Tuvoz’s AI may call this number about my requests, and those calls are recorded and transcribed.” That covers test calls and the calls Tuvoz makes to ask you questions mid-call. The first such call asks you to press 1 to confirm. Like every Tuvoz call, they end with Tuvoz’s callback number. Press 9 on any of them to stop AI calls to your phone; you can turn them back on in Settings.

9. Prices, billing and payment

  • Price: $0.12 per connected minute, billed per second with a 30-second minimum for each answered call leg, including calls Tuvoz makes to your own phone. Prices and limits in effect when a call is placed apply to that call.
  • Not billed: calls that aren’t answered, are busy, fail or are canceled; calls that end during the opener or the recording question; calls where the other person declines recording; voicemail unless a message was left at your request; calls that fail because of our systems; and calls Tuvoz ends because its own voice agent broke a rule.
  • Free minutes: new accounts receive 15 free minutes once, after phone verification, while the monthly free budget lasts. Free minutes have no cash value and are used before any other balance.
  • Prepaid balance: you buy credit in advance in fixed amounts ($5, $10, $20 or $50) through Stripe Checkout, with a US card and US billing address. Sales tax is added where it applies. Your balance (including pending top-ups and amounts held for live calls) may not exceed $250. Before a call starts we hold enough balance to cover its maximum length; unused held amounts return to your balance when the call is settled.
  • Referral credit: when someone signs up with your referral code and their first paid top-up has cleared for 7 days with no refund or dispute, you and they each receive $3 of promotional credit. Limits: one credit per verified phone, up to 20 credited referrals per year. Promotional credit has no cash value and expires when your account closes.
  • Refunds: see the Refund Policy. Unused paid balance is refunded to your card when you close your account. Free minutes and promotional credit are not refundable.
  • Disputes and chargebacks: if you dispute a payment, we may suspend your account until it is resolved.
  • Changes: we may change prices or limits for future calls. We’ll tell you at least 14 days before a price increase takes effect.

10. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no impersonation, no sales, political, fundraising, debt collection or survey calls, no harassment, no calls to people who asked us to stop, and no attempts to get around the honesty rules or our limits. Breaking it can lead to blocked calls, a paused or closed account, and loss of any free or promotional balance.

11. Open-source code and our name

The Tuvoz bridge is published under the MIT license at github.com/tuvoz-ai/bridge, and that license governs the code. “Tuvoz” and our logo are our trademarks; the MIT license doesn’t grant rights to them. A self-hosted bridge must not use the name Tuvoz on its calls.

12. Suspension, closing and deletion

You can close your account in Settings at any time. We refund unused paid balance as described in the Refund Policy and delete your account data as described in the Privacy Policy, except data we must keep by law or under a legal hold.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, if your calls draw repeated opt-outs or complaints, if a payment is disputed, if required by law or our carriers, or if we stop offering the Service. If we close your account without cause, we refund your unused paid balance.

13. Disclaimers

The Service uses AI that can make mistakes: it may misunderstand people, fail to reach the goal, or report an outcome inaccurately. Check important results yourself. Businesses may refuse to deal with an AI assistant. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Tuvoz is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and (b) $50. Some states don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

15. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Tuvoz against claims, fines and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from calls you requested or approved, the instructions and information you or your agent provided, numbers you added as people who agreed to AI calls, or your breach of these Terms or the law. This doesn’t apply to the extent a claim is caused by our own breach of these Terms.

16. Disputes

  • Talk to us first. Email legal@tuvoz.io with a description of the problem. We’ll try to resolve it informally within 60 days.
  • Arbitration. If we can’t, you and Tuvoz agree to resolve disputes by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek an injunction for misuse of intellectual property.
  • No class actions. Disputes are resolved individually; neither party may bring or join a class or representative action.
  • Opting out of arbitration. You can opt out of this section within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing legal@tuvoz.io from your account email with the subject “Arbitration opt-out”.
  • Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, where Deepdive AI Labs LLC is organized, and by US federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Each version has a version string (this one is tos-2026-10-17) and a date. For material changes we’ll notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect, and the app will ask you to accept the new version. Changes that widen how your calls are used for training take effect only with your new consent.

18. Other terms

These Terms, with the documents they link to, are the whole agreement between you and Tuvoz about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Our failure to enforce a provision isn’t a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms; we may transfer them to a successor of our business. Sections 7 (deletion and training commitments), 9 (amounts owed), 13 to 16 and 18 survive the end of your account.

19. Contact

Deepdive AI Labs LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as Tuvoz AI. Email legal@tuvoz.io for legal notices, support@tuvoz.io for help with your account, and abuse@tuvoz.io to report a call. Tuvoz’s callback number, (628) 386-4393, takes no messages: it plays our opt-out line.
